About

Michael Bloom is a new graduate nurse and lifelong learner with a passion for community health, education, and the arts. Raised in North Jersey, he discovered early interests in photography, sailing, and theater, and earned academic honors throughout high school. At the University of Pennsylvania, Michael combined clinical training with public health advocacy and leadership. He served as a Civil Air Patrol cadet and photographer, participated in homelessness awareness sleepouts, and helped deliver opioid crisis training on campus. In his downtime, Michael enjoys reading, visiting museums, and playing card games with friends—always seeking to combine curiosity with compassion in every aspect of life.
